What's on across Cirencester and the Cotswolds: 15 to 29 April 2026
Right. Another fortnight, another handful of things worth poking your head out the door for. I spend most of my working days rattling about in the van between Cirencester and the villages, and the nice side effect is that I see the posters on the church noticeboards and the chalkboards outside the pubs before most of it hits anyone's feed. So every couple of weeks I'll round up what's caught my eye, in case you've got a quiet Saturday and need pointing somewhere.
The first weekend is a good one. Spring FEASTival on the Market Place runs both Saturday and Sunday, which is a proper excuse to have a wander, try something you wouldn't normally, and then pretend the dog walk was the reason you ended up with a bag of cheese. In between there's a jazz night tonight in town, a mums' brunch club on the Tuesday, and a wreath workshop on the Thursday if you fancy something a bit more hands-on.
Second half of the fortnight thins out a bit, but if you're over Tetbury way on the 25th, Transatlantic Hot Club at the Goods Shed is a lovely evening out. I've been to a handful of gigs there over the years and I've never walked out disappointed.
If I've missed something, ping me on Facebook and I'll add it to the next one. And if any of this ends up with you noticing a wobbly shelf or a door that won't catch, well, you know where I am.
This fortnight's highlights
B.D. Lenz + Trio at The Jazz Club
USA jazz guitarist B.D. Lenz is in town tonight. A mid-week pick-me-up if you fancy something a bit different.
More info →Cirencester Spring FEASTival and Spring Market
Two days of food producers, makers and market stalls right in the middle of town. If the weather holds, it's the nicest way to waste a Saturday I can think of.
More info →Brunch Club: the sleep edit
A mums' brunch club with a sleep focus this month. Baby sensory bits, a free hand massage and what sounds like a very good breakfast. Booking ahead is the thing.
More info →Spring Wreath Craft Workshop
A couple of hours making a spring wreath with everything provided, £22 a head. Small group, so worth booking if it catches your eye.
More info →Transatlantic Hot Club, live
Gypsy jazz over in Tetbury. The Goods Shed is a lovely little venue and these gigs do tend to sell out, so don't hang about if you're keen.

Long weekends are when you notice the little things. A sticky door, a dripping tap, a shelf that's never sat straight. Drop me a line and I'll pop round when it suits you.
